HEADSTART PCC – LOVE TO LANGA SPONSORED PUPIL REPORTS

Zion Manual [Springbokke]

At first Zion did not want to get into the pool but with a whole lot of games we progressed.

Freestyle Kicking -his kicking is good and straight but must be assisted with a kicker board.

He is still not blowing bubbles in a comfortable manner.

His back float kick is good also with assistance of the coach.

He knows how to get in and out of the pool.

Breast stroke – His breaststroke is coming along good using the noodle.

Zion enters the pool correctly.

 

Roshe Links (Springbokke]

She was very happy to get into the water at our first lesson.

Freestyle Kick – Kicking is good and straight assisted with a kicker board

She is not comfortable in putting her face under water but does blow bubbles

Floating on her back is good as well as her backstroke kicking.

Breast Stroke – makes use of the noodle

Roshe enters the pool correctly

 

Sitha Cebu [Springbokke]

At the first lesson he wasn’t too comfortable in getting into the pool but with lots of games he now enjoys getting into the pool

Freestyle kicking – kicking is good and straight assisted with a kicking board

He is comfortable in blowing bubbles

Back float and backstroke kicking is good

Breast stroke – is good but its assisted with a noodle

Sitha enters the pool correctly

 

Indiphile Siqangwe (Springbokke)

At the first lesson Indiphile was very scared to get into the pool or do anything as he was afraid of the water going into his face. He now gets into the pool eagerly.

Freestyle kicking – Kicking is good and straight assisted by a kicking board

Not comfortable in putting her face in water to blow bubbles but does attempt it

Back float and backstroke is good and comfortable

Breast stroke is good but it’s assisted with a noodle

Knows how to get in and out of the pool

 

Phoebe Morris (Froggies)

Phoebe did not want to swim at all and was scared but with a lot of games we managed to get into the pool with confidence.

Freestyle kicking – is very good and straight assisted with a kicking board

Comfortable in blowing bubbles

Floating on her back and backstroke kicking is good and she is comfortable with it.

Breast stroke -is good but its assisted with a noodle

She know how to get in and out of the pool

 

Lutho Dwane (Froggies)

At the first lesson he did not want to do anything in the water and was scared.

With games he got comfortable in being in the water and playing games in the pool

Freestyle kicking is good and straight assisted with a kicker board

Not so comfortable in blowing bubbles but does attempt it

Back float and back stroke kicking is good with assistance

Breast stroke -is good but its assisted with a noodle

He knows how to get in and out of the pool

 

Nusra Ndawayo (Frogies)

She was very scared at her first lesson but got comfortable as we progressed

Still does not like to blow bubbles under water but does attempt it

Freestyle kicking is good and straight assisted with a kicker board

Back float and backstroke kicking is good

Breast stroke kicking is good but it’s assisted with a noodle

She knows how to get in and out of the pool

 

Jayden Maans (Froggies)

At first was very scared of getting into the pool but with the encouragement and games he now enjoys the water comfortably.

Freestyle kicking is good and straight

Do not like to blow bubbles and is still afraid to put his face under the water

Very comfortable in back float and kicking of backstroke

Breast stroke kicking needs to be worked but currently is with a noodle

He knows how to get in and out of the pool

 

Shyloh Damons (Kangaroos)

Shyloh is a very happy and confident girl who enjoyed the water from day one.

Freestyle kicking very good and straight assisted by a kicker board

Comfortable in blowing bubbles and putting her face under the water

Back float and backstroke kicking is good

Breast stroke is very good but it’s assisted by a noodle

She knows how to get in and out of the pool and very comfortable in the water.

 

Reimezane Brandt (Kangaroos)

He was very scared to get into the water at the first lesson but got comfortable quickly with all the games we played.

Freestyle kicking is good and straight assisted with a kicker board

Comfortable in blowing bubbles

Back float and backstroke kick is good and comfortable

Breast stroke is good but it’s assisted by a noodle

He knows how to get in and out of the pool
